What is Vanguard?
Riot Vanguard is Riot Games' custom game security software, designed to uphold the highest levels of competitive integrity for our players.
It consists of a client that runs while our games are active, as well as a kernel mode driver. Both features are developed in-house with a focus on security, safety, and privacy.
Vanguard must be active when you play most of our games, so it pays to make sure it's running properly.
