Compatibility Mode lets Windows run programs using settings designed for older versions of Windows. While that can help with older software, it may interfere with the Riot Client or your game from launching correctly.

Disable Compatibility Mode

  1. Locate the Riot Client or affected game's .exe file.
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties.
  3. Open the Compatibility tab.
  4. Under Compatibility mode, make sure Run this program in compatibility mode for: is unchecked.
  5. Select Apply, then OK.
  6. Repeat these steps for the Riot Client and your game if needed.
  7. Relaunch the Riot Client and try starting your game again.
