Long before Atakhan became an avatar of destruction on the Rift, it terrorized all of Runeterra. But even this creature of carnage can't help but delay its rampage to face an odd (but familiar…?) stranger at a game of cards—not when Demon's Hand is the name of the game, at least.

Gameplay
You can access The Demon's Hand from the home screen of the League of Legends client. From there you can select New Game to begin your journey and Continue to pick up where you left off. Just be careful once you start, as selecting "New Game" will delete your current progress.
Battle Start
You start each run with a set amount of health based on how far you've progressed in the minigame. Your starting hand has eight cards from a deck of 52, which you'll use to begin your attack.
Combat
The Command Cards: Scout, Shaman, Warlord, Assassin
Your goal is to whittle away the enemy's health before they get yours. To do this, assemble hands to deal damage based on the attack values of the cards you play and the way they combo together.
However, enemies are more than just their HP value. They have unique effects that modify the rules of the games, such as how many Discards you get or the damage certain Attack Types do. The key to victory is accounting for and overcoming the special rules each enemy brings to the table.

You can also discard three times each battle, and discard up to five individual cards each time you discard. Unless indicated otherwise, you get a new card for each one you discard.
After the Battle
After each combat you're awarded currency that you can spend on Sigils to augment different aspects of the game (incoming or outgoing damage, card draw, health effects, etc.). Try to pick augments that synergize with your preferred playstyle that run.
Sigils
Sigils can be purchased at Shops and provide damage, modify game rules, protect you from enemies, or provide unique strategic options. There are 36 Sigils available initially.
You can unlock 24 rare Sigils by playing League, so queue up and keep a lookout to get the full set.
The Map
The Map offers opportunities for you to choose your fate:
Combat - Battle for glory and loot.
Elite - Face unknown enemies for greater rewards.
Shop - Spend your hard-earned currency to increase your power.
Rest - Take a short rest to restore HP.
Boss - See if you've trained enough to survive.
Controls
While most of Demon's Hand can be navigated using your mouse, your keyboard is also available to help speed things up during combat.
