Update your Region of Residence through the following link

Before anything else, be sure you know the difference between your Region of Residence and your Game Server:

  • Region of Residence: The actual geographical area where you live. This account-level setting usually decides which servers the account plays on, which payment options are available, and who can appear on the friend list.
  • Game Server: The specific server an account connects to for gameplay. For certain games the game server is strictly tied to the Region of Residence, while other games allow transfers to be made between servers regardless of the Region of Residence set up on the account.

Before You Update Your Region of Residence

Changing your Region of Residence may also automatically update the servers of games associated with your account, which for many titles means resetting things like match history and ranked progression. The consequences of this change apply to ALL games, not just the one you play most often. Be sure you understand these mandatory changes before updating your Region of Residence.

What happens when you update your Region of Residence

League of Legends/

Teamfight Tactics

  • Game Server: Not updated by this process. To change your actual game server, please refer to the dedicated LoL/TFT Server Transfer article 
  • Progression : The Region of Residence does not affect these titles.
Legends of Runeterra
  • Game Server: Automatically updated to match your new Region of Residence. 
  • Progress Kept: All decks, cards, unlocks, and Labs progression remain intact.
  • Progress Lost: Match history will be permanently cleared. 
VALORANT
  • Game Server: Automatically updated to match your new Region of Residence.
  • Progress Kept: Account level, collections (skins, agents), loadouts, and battlepass/event progress. 
  • Progress Lost: Ranked season data, match history, purchase history, and Night.Market offers. 
Wild Rift
  • Game Server: Automatically updated to match your new Region of Residence. 
  • Progress Kept: Your Collection (skins, champions, chromas, etc.) and account level.
  • Progress Lost: Ranked progression, event missions/milestones, match history, replays, and guilds generally do not transfer.
2XKO
  • Game Server: Automatically updated to match your new Region of Residence. 
  • Total Reset: All account progression will be completely removed 
  • Action Required: Please reach out to Player Support directly via ticket before considering a transfer for this game
