It's not a coincidence that you excel on certain maps. Maybe the Split setups are just too easy for you, while Haven positioning is more of a challenge. With Map Rating, you have full visibility into your overall performance across every map in VALORANT's Competitive and Premier game modes.

What is Map Rating?
Map Rating tracks and grades your proficiency on every map available in Competitive and Premier game modes. KDA and match wins tell part of the story, but understanding where you excel—and where you need to adapt—is where Map Rating shines.
You can find Map Rating in your Career, as well as the end of game screen of your Competitive/Premier matches:

Map Rating is represented as a number from 0–500 for each map, and it’s graded based on thresholds from C-tier to S-tier based on the following factors:
- Win Rate based on your overall success rate on the map
- Attacker Win Rate, which calculates how reliably you secure rounds while being the attacking team
- Defender Win Rate analyzing how effectively you hold sites and execute retakes on defense
- Performance Score obtained throughout the match (see our Performance Score article for more information)
By balancing side-specific win rates with your individual Performance Score, Map Rating highlights whether your playstyle shines brighter on specific maps or sides. Finally, since it incorporates your full account history on each map, Map Rating is not reset at the beginning of a new Act, but recent matches are weighted more heavily.
