FAQ

Help! League Displays keeps Bugsplatting when I try to open it!

  • Originally we had not accounted for players who may have special characters in their computer username (e.g. D@NK M3M3S). We've fixed this particular issue so that it works with all usernames. While we understand this may be a hassle, you’ll need to download [ Windows | Mac OS ] a fresh version of the app and perform a clean install.

When setting up screensavers or wallpapers, they don't seem to rotate as expected or at all.

  • While we’re working on a permanent fix, we do have a temporary solution. Open the League Displays application and change the default wallpaper rotation time to anything other than the current set time and save your settings. Once saved, you can change the rotation time to the desired variable (e.g. 1 minute) and save your settings again. If you’re still seeing issues, try changing the settings on your computer rather than within the League Displays app.

League Displays loads with all of the images/text stacked on top of each other.

  • This means the app has loaded without CSS. Restarting League Displays should fix this issue.

Why isn’t my favorite art included in League Displays?

  • We’re constantly working to upload new art. We try to update our inventory on the same patches as the League of Legends client. That being said, there is so much to grab it’s possible we’ve missed a few. If you don’t see something as an option but you’d like to have it, please submit a feedback form by opening League Displays and clicking on the bug icon on the bottom right of the window. We regularly check these requests and want to hear what you’d like to see!

Clean uninstall

If you're seeing any issues with the applications but the uninstaller isn't working properly, follow these steps to remove it from your computer:

Windows steps

  • Go to "Programs and Features" in "Control Panel," then find LeagueDisplays and run the uninstallation. Check the "Remove Downloaded Contents" checkbox.
  • Remove your \AppData\Local\LolScreenSaver if the folder still exists

Mac steps

  • Open "Finder," go to "Applications" on the side menu.
  • Select LeagueDisplays and press "Command + Delete."
  • Remove the folder /Library/Application Support/LolScreenSaver

Note that a clean uninstall will remove all art you've selected in the past, so it will have to be redownloaded if you install the application again.
