Do you ever wonder about your lifetime stats with your most cherished Agent? The Aces, the kills, the headshots? VALORANT’s Agent Mastery has the answers.
Mastery Points
Mastery Points (MP) is a new progression currency that contributes to Agent Mastery. You earn them for whatever Agent you’re playing in the following game modes:
- Competitive
- Unrated
- Swiftplay
- Spike Rush
- Team Deathmatch
- Premier
Not only do you get MP just by playing the game, your performance in the match also influences how much you earn. MP varies based on the length of the match - a longer play time will give you more MP. You can also earn MP bonuses by winning games and achieving a high performance score.
The Mastery Points you earn from a match only go to the Agent you were playing. After all, they’re the one you’re mastering!
Act Levels
At the start of every new Act, your previous Act Mastery progression resets for all Agents, taking you right back to the start of the progression track. As you earn MP, your Agent’s Act Level for that Act increases, showing on your Agent’s Portrait. Increasing Act Levels will unlock Act rewards, such as visual upgrades to that Agent’s Portrait. And if you want to flex your achievements with your favorite Agent, you’ll be glad to know that your Level displays to everyone you play with on your Agent Portrait, Agent Selection, Combat Report, and even on the Match History!
But just because progression resets each Act doesn’t mean you lose it all - you get to keep the portrait upgrades you’ve earned for an additional Act.
Lifetime Levels
This type of Mastery is persistent and represents all the investment and effort you’ve put in a specific Agent. Lifetime Levels progress every time you earn an Act Level.
So long as you keep investing your time and passion into your favorite Agent, it will keep increasing. All that investment comes with rewards available for Kingdom Credits through the Agent Mastery Rewards Track . Each Agent has one, and each one is divided into unlockable sections that offer more and more content tailored to your favorite Agent, such as Agent Poses, Backgrounds, Stats, and more.
Agent ID
This is your very own Agent ID card, where you can customize the displayed stats and visuals.
Earning Lifetime Levels gains you access to purchasable Stats you can equip onto your Agent ID, displaying data like play time, headshots, kills, and more. The more you play with that Agent, the more rewards are available for Kingdom Credits in the Rewards Track, including Backgrounds, Frames, Quotes and Agent Poses !
Your chosen Agent Pose is displayed in the following in-game locations:
- Agent ID
- End of Game Progression Tab
- End of Game MVP Screen
- Player Profile
- Act Level Progression Screen
Agent Mastery FAQ
Why is my Mastery zero? I’ve been playing forever .
Agent Mastery was implemented as a clean slate for all players. Whether you’ve mained Viper since launch or just created your account, your Mastery with all agents starts at zero.
If you’ve been playing for a while since the release of Agent Mastery and you haven’t been earning MP or noticed anything odd about your progression, submit a ticket to Player Support and we’ll investigate what’s up.
Can I lose Agent Mastery?
Lifetime Level progression is cumulative and permanent , reflecting your dedication in-game with that Agent. Even if you go on a hiatus or decide to spend some time focusing on other Agents for a change, your all-time mastery with your main will remain the same in that account.
However, that’s not quite true for Act Levels. Since Act Levels reset for everyone with each new Act , you have to keep playing an Agent with every new Act if you wanna keep the numbers going up.
Can I refund my Mastery Rewards?
Mastery Rewards are purchasable with Kingdom Credits (provided you reach the required Mastery Level to unlock them, of course). As such, they are not refundable according to our Refund Policy .
What Stats can I have on an Agent ID?
Some Stats come by default as options to customize your Agent IDs:
| Stat | Data |
|---|---|
| Assists | Times you’ve assisted a kill while playing with this Agent |
| Act Level 10s | Times you’ve reached Level 10 on this Agent |
| Hours Played | Hours you’ve spent playing with this Agent |
| Games Won | Games you’ve won with this Agent |
| Damage | Damage you’ve dealt to others with this Agent |
| Kills | Kills you’ve accumulated with this Agent |
Other Stats need to be purchased from the Reward Track once you reach the necessary Mastery, such as:
| Stat | Data |
|---|---|
| KD | Your Kill/Death ratio with this Agent |
| MVP Count | Times you’ve been MVP with this Agent |
| Win Rate | Your Win/Lose rate with this Agent |
| Aces | Times you’ve eliminated all five opponents in one same round with this Agent |
| Clutches | Times you’ve won alone in a disadvantage scenario with this Agent |
| First Blood | Times you’ve earned the first kill of a round with this Agent |
| Headshots | Heads you’ve popped when playing with this Agent |
Can I hide my Agent Mastery from other players?
Agent Mastery cannot be hidden. Your Mastery is a display of the time you dedicated to an Agent, but it doesn’t reveal any sensitive or trackable info, meaning that Streamer mode doesn’t need to hide it.
In addition, your Agent Mastery cannot be changed or erased either (save for Act Mastery periodic resets). It’s an ever increasing number deeply tied to your account’s history and functionality, so in this case, what is done cannot be undone - not even by Player Support.
