Transfer to a Different Server in League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics

Before you make the jump, let's go over how transfers work, including the requirements and consequences.

League of Legends & TFT Share Transfers

Because League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics share the same account and server system, purchasing a server transfer will automatically move your progress and content for both games. You do not need to transfer them separately.

Cost and Cooldowns

You can purchase a transfer from the store for 2600 RP by clicking the Account button next to the Purchase RP. Transfers are usually near-instantaneous, though accounts with an astronomical amount of RP will have a short waiting period for a manual security review.

Once transferred, the account is placed on a 90-day cooldown. In other words, you’ll have to wait 90 days before you can make another transfer. (Note: During regional transfer promotions, eligible accounts receive a temporary, free transfer token that expires when the promotion ends)

Free Transfer Promotions

Whenever there is a transfer promotion in a specific region, eligible accounts will receive a free transfer token to move to the promoted server. This token can only be used while the promotion is active; if you choose not to use it, the token will be removed from your account once the promotion is over.

TFT Mobile Players

If you play Teamfight Tactics exclusively on a mobile device and need to transfer servers, you must download the Windows/Mac client and initiate the transfer from there.

Available Regions & Restrictions

You can transfer your account to most Riot servers, but some restrictions may apply depending on your current server:

• Universal Restrictions: Accounts cannot be transferred to Brazil, Russia, and Korea.
• Brazil & Russia: If you are currently located in either of these regions, you cannot transfer out to any other server.
• Türkiye: If you are currently located in this region, you cannot transfer to LATAM North or LATAM South. Keep in mind that the universal restrictions above still apply.
• Vietnam & Taiwan: If you are currently located in either of these regions, you cannot transfer to North America. Keep in mind that the universal restrictions above still apply. Additionally, transfers between Vietnam and Taiwan are restricted.

What to Expect When Transferring

Because we cannot reverse accidental transfers, be absolutely sure you want to move between regions before proceeding. Here is how your account will be affected:
